Originally I intended this blog to be a vehicle for shameless self promotion of my art work. I have decided however to expand the concept and will occasionally write about other artists or exhibits, galleries etc. that I find interesting. An informal arts journal. I hope those of you who visit this site will find something interesting and stop back from time to time to see what I’ve added. Please feel free to leave a comment or drop an e-mail if you are interested or have questions about a piece of work. If you are looking for Debe's work follow this link to her blog. http://debeabbottsartblog.blogspot.com/ To visit our gallery home page and shop us online http://www.abbottsstudio.com/

"John Boat" by Edward J. Elhoff

This classic Elhoff painting is currently available through our gallery or on line at abbottsstudio.com. The seller is motivated and is asking $1,000.00, well below fair market value for an Elhoff this size and quality. I have sold several in the last year similar in the $1,400 - $2,500 price range. The painting is in excellent condition but could be reframed.

*Additional Elhoff paintings are available at abbottsstudio.com. Click on the web store tab and follow under original paintings.

Oh my goodness isn't this lovely! Sadly I am not familiar with Elhoff's work but if this is an example, wow!

Thanks for sharing!

Mr. Elhoff was one of the top regional artists (Central new York & New England)during the mid 1960's, 70's and up until his death in 1988.
